Since the first time I took the helm of my dad's Alumacraft as a kid and traversed it down the Wisconsin River, I've been in love with boating and being on the water. Over the next 35+ years I've run larger boats on larger rivers, lakes and oceans, and have never lost the love of boating.

I currently hold a U.S. Coast Guard Master Captain's License for Inland waters, the Great Lakes and Near Costal waters of the US with an endorsement for assistance towing. I've been a certified law enforcement officer for over 20 years, and during that time served for several years on water patrol. I grew up on the shores of Lake Michigan and vacation a few times a year in the Clearwater, FL and Florida Keys areas. If there's water nearby, you can bet I'm going to find a way to get on it. So, over the past decades I've run boats on rivers, inland lakes, the Great Lakes, the Gulf of America and east coast of the U.S. If I'm not caring for someone else's boat, most of my time is spent aboard mine on Lake Michigan, fishing and teaching my kids the art of boating.

In these past 35+ years, I've never been on a boat I didn't love. I've faced all sorts of difficulties on the water and have the experience and knowledge to get your boat to its new destination safely.
